Getting Started

This guide will walk through the basics of registering and setting up your Pin/Out account and installing the app.

Registration

Navigate to the registration page to create an account. There are currently 2 ways to register:

Register with Google Account (Recommended)

If you have a Gmail account you can login with Google by clicking the Continue with Google button and following the prompts.

This is the recommended approach since your account will automatically be verified without having to handle a confirmation email, simplifying the registration process.

Register with Email Address

Alternatively, you can register directly with your email address. To do this, enter your email address and click Continue.

You'll be sent an email with a verification link. If more than 5 minutes have gone by and you haven't received the email, check your spam folder. You can also click the Resend Email button to receive a new link.

Once you receive the email, click the link to verify your email address. You'll be taken to a form where you'll need to enter your first and last name, and a password.

Choose a secure password; it's required to have at least 8 characters, and we strongly recommend using a combination of capital and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Once everything's filled out, click Register to finish creating your new account.

Registration Issues

If your account registration fails, it's likely due to one of the following reasons:

1. An account has already been created with the email you're using

This usually occurs if you've already created an account. Try logging in using the same email, and reset your password if you can't remember it.

2. Invalid / mismatched passwords

You may see an error message if your password is invalid, or if your Password and Confirm Password entries don't match. Make sure that your password is 8 or more characters long, and that you typed it correctly both times.

3. Other issues

If you can't pinpoint the cause of your registration error, contact Pin/Out support, or email [email protected]. Please include the error message in your email to ensure the fastest possible resolution.

Save to Home Screen

For maximum convenience, we highly recommend saving Pin/Out to your phone as an app. This process is fairly simple, but it varies slightly depending on the web browser you use.

Safari

To save Pin/Out to your home screen on Safari, follow these steps:

1. Open the browser and navigate to app.pinoutapp.com.
2. Click the Share icon located at the bottom center of your screen.
3. A menu will pop up. Scroll down until you see the button labeled Add to Home Screen and click it.
4. Click the Add button in the top-right corner to confirm.
5. You'll now be able to access Pin/Out from your home screen, along with the rest of your apps.
